  7. ACCEPTANCE Receive me, Include me VALUE I matter, I am precious, See & listen to me BELONGING I am not disposable, Don’t let me go, Keep me safe

  8. By creation: our needs were to be met by reflection The FATHER HEART OF GOD • LOVE • ETERNAL • INFINITE • TRINITY • INTIMACY

  9. So, what matters most is that you see God & see yourself as God sees you!

  10. THE Source= GOD People = Resource

  11. We lost ourwith God

  12. The reflection of value from: • my own PERFORMANCE • the OPINIONS of others

  13. Negative life experiences & Destructive reflections: • Criticism • Rejection • Failure • Defensiveness • Stonewalling

  14. How do you relate to a God you can’t see? • By faith (not blind, nor irrational) • God is spirit – engage Him in your spirit.

  15. “God’s word is the mirror” James 1:23 • Get quiet & read Jesus’ words • Sit down • Read healing verses (psalm 23) • Write down & declare his promises • Spend time with encouragers
