  3. Early Life His father was Prescott Sheldon Bush, and his mother was Dorothy Walker Bush. He was the 2nd baby born of 5 kids. He went to private schools, and he was popular. He was the captain of the baseball, and soccer teams. He was nice to his brothers and sisters. He went to Greenwich Country Day School, Phillips Academy, and Yale University

  4. Family Life He was married to Barbra Pierce. He had 2 children, but 1 died of leukemia. In 1951 they got rich by creating The Bush Overby Oil Development.

  5. The Election He picked Dan Quayle as vice president. He ran against Michael Dukakis. The votes were 538-426.
