This workshop focuses on the exploration and comparison of health prevalence data from various sources, including PRIMIS, QMAS, and QResearch. We will discuss the extraction of data from 0.5 million patients with epilepsy and 16 million in diabetes and blood pressure categories. Key statistics will be analyzed, highlighting the prevalence of hypertension, ischaemic heart disease, stroke, heart failure, diabetes, asthma, and epilepsy. We will also cover issues such as data quality, definitions, selection bias, and interrogation routines, emphasizing the importance of understanding what health statistics reveal and conceal.
