  1. EARTHQUAKE By. Dave and John

  2. What is Earthquake? • Fundamental why earthquake occurs is called elastic rebound. If stratums receive strength, it also bend and change its appearance. When it gets too much strength, it breaks and becomes fault. Repulsive power occurs, because it tries to go back to its original shape. Then earthquake occurs because of this repulsive power.

  3. What is Earthquake?

  4. What Makes Earthquake to occur? • Most of earthquakes occurs because of movement of continents, extension of the sea floorand formation of mountain range. Differently, sometimes earthquake occurs, because of eruption of mountain. At this case, scale is smaller than others. Also, earthquake occurs because of explosion by explosive objects.

  5. What Makes Earthquake to occur?

  6. Type of Earthquake • Earthquake is separated by its form and cause of occur as tectonic earthquake, volcanic earthquake, implosions of collapse earthquake.

  7. Type of Earthquake San Andreas Fault is one of famous transform fault.

  8. Epicenter and Earthquake Focus • Energy that occurs earthquake is produced from earthquake focus. Epicenter is vertically connected to earthquake focus. Epicenter is the closest land to earthquake focus, so it has biggest damage.
