Evaluation Results • 97% of the participants indicated that the information presented increased his/her knowledge/awareness of nontraditional careers. • 92% of the participants indicated that the event increased his/her awareness of the resources available to make an informed career choice. • 91% of the participants indicated that the event increased his/her ability to make an informed transition to college. • 80% of the participants indicated that attending the event increased his/her likelihood to pursue a nontraditional career. • 75% of the participants indicated that attending this event increased the likelihood of him/her enrolling in a nontraditional program at Southwestern Illinois College. • 95% of the participants indicated that attending this event has increased his/her knowledge of at least three of the following programs: Allied Health Careers, Aviation Pilot Training; Computer-Aided Drafting; Construction Management, Electrical/Electronics; Medical Laboratory Technology; Nursing; Paralegal Studies, and Welding. • 97% of the participants indicated that they were satisfied with the overall event. • 98% of the participants indicated that he/she would recommend the event to other high school students.
