Innovative Active Hinge for Variable Combine Header on Uneven Terrain

This project aims to address crop loss and varying cutting heights on undulating terrain by developing a mechanical concept for an active hinge on a multiple-section combine header. The MatLab simulation model, including the Center Section and Right Hand Wing Tool, will be used to analyze different header widths and weights and assess hydraulic system requirements. The key focus is on creating a concept and simulation model for a flexing combine header with an efficient hydraulic actuation system.
