During the week of October 3rd to 7th, 2011, students engaged in comprehensive narrative writing activities, focusing on understanding core narrative elements. The week's activities included a final narrative draft completion, assessments on literary response, and presentations of narrative stories. Work Period • You now have time to continue working on your narrative final draft. • Meanwhile, I will aim to conference with each student to ensure each of you meets all of expectations of the final draft are clear. • REMEMBER, the final draft must be in: • Blue or Black Ink or Typed (if typed printed at home, and submitted to teacher; NO JUMPDRIVES)

Activator • Prepare for your Narrative Final Assessment • Put your belongings under your chair • You will need a pen or pencil, a sheet of notebook paper, and an iRespond remote • You will take this test both on a sheet of paper and on iRespond.
Work Period • Complete your Narrative Final Assessment in iRespond AND on a sheet of notebook paper • Make sure your name, date, and class period is on it • When you finish: • Write your score at the top of your sheet of paper • Quietly read a book and log the pages in your Reading Log
