Your input of additional agenda items would be greatly appreciated!!! • If you will need financial assistance to attend the seminar, please submit a request 30 days prior to the event. Central Region Seminar – Your participation is needed Central Region Chapter Presidents, Delegates, Directors and Members: I’m sending this message to plead for your assistance. We need your support! As of yesterday, we only had 36 registered attendees for our Central Region Seminar in Austin next month. I realize people put things off until the last minute and that money and time are tight, but if we continue on this pace, we have the possibility of not meeting our minimum quota for the seminar, not to mention not having enough to have an official Central Region Delegate Board meeting. Delegates and Chapter Presidents represent their chapters and their membership at the regional board meetings, or make arrangements to be represented by a delegated, documented proxy. We can’t keep the region functioning if we don’t have a quorum at our business meetings. Members, who cannot attend the NES, should consider the relatively lower expense and time involved for this seminar vs. that of the NES, and seriously consider attending this seminar, especially if you can’t be away from your office for a week. PLEASE evaluate your situation and make plans to attend this seminar. The Austin Chapter has been working many long months to make this a success and to provide an interesting cross of workshop presenters and topics. It would be ashamed if you missed out on this opportunity. After all, do you really want to miss my first (and possibly last) workshop presentation? My workshop will be your chance to tell me what you like about NPMA, don’t like, or want to change; or discuss property issues/problems. It’s all up to you…you control the topics. Here is a link to the registration page. Just put in your membership number when asked to do so to get the member rate or go to npma.org and click on the member tab and then register. http://www.npma.org/CourseDetails.aspx?EventID=3258 Looking forward to seeing you there. Thanks for your time and consideration.
