  6. VALUES What are they, why are they important and how do we develop them? • Values are a set of guidelines, beliefs and morals to guide you in life’s choices. They help us make good decisions. Family, friends, society, religion, media, teachers, etc..

  7. GOALS Short term goals are steps to reach your long term goals! • We should set goals for the following reasons: • motivation • focus • direction in life • to feel successful • to improve our self-esteem
