  3. İSTANBUL Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and fifth largest city proper in the world with a population of 12.6 million. Istanbul is also a megacity, as well as the cultural and financial centre of Turkey. It extends both on the European and on the Asian sides of the Bosphorus, and is thereby the only metropolis in the world that is situated on two continents.

  4. Sehit Ogretmen Izzet Yuksel Primary Education School *Our school was founded in 1995. * It is a state school. *It is located in Cekmekoy in the Anatolian part (Asia) of İstanbul. *There are 1100 students and 37 teachers at our school.

  5. * Our school provides education for children from 6 to 14 years old. * Pupils are taught mainly by their form teachers from the 1st to the 3rd classes. *Our students leave school at the end of their 8th school year and attend different secondary schools (mainly vocational schools).

  6. Subjects Taught at Our School: Turkish, English, History, Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Art, Visual Art, Music, Physical Education, Geography. In addition to these main subjects, Folk Dances, Chess, Ebru (Turkish Marbeled Paper) are taught.
