  3. STEP #2Determine the number of pans of lasagna you will need to prepare. 1 pan = 24 servings2 pans = 48 servings 3 pans = 72 servings…

  4. STEP #3Gather Equipment Large mixing bowl or pan 2” full hotel pan(s) (12” x 20” x 2”) Measuring cups Rubber spatula

  5. STEP #4Gather Ingredients Ground Beef Marinara Sauce Lasagna Noodles Cottage Cheese Shredded Mozzarella

  6. STEP #5 In a large mixing bowl or hotel pan combine the ground beef and marinara sauce. For each pan of lasagna combine 7.5 cups beef + 1 bag marinara.

  7. STEP #6Spray pan(s) with pan release.

  8. STEP #7For each pan, layer the ingredients as follows: 1st Layer: 4 cups sauce (beef and marinara)

  9. 2nd Layer: 7 uncooked noodles

  10. 3rd Layer: 4 cups sauce

  11. 4th Layer: 3 cups cottage cheese

  12. 5th Layer: 2 cups shredded mozzarella

  13. 6th Layer: 6 uncooked noodles

  14. 7th Layer: 4 cups sauce

  15. 8th Layer: 3 cups shredded mozzarella

  16. STEP #8Spray aluminum foil with pan release.Tightly cover the pan(s) with parchment paper then with aluminum foil.

  17. STEP #9Bake the lasagna at 375 degrees Ffor 40 minutes or until the lasagna reaches 165 degrees F. Carefully remove the pan from the oven and uncover. Continue baking for 5 minutes, uncovered, or until the surface of the lasagna is golden brown.

  18. Let the lasagna stand for 15 minutes at room temperature before cutting.
