This study analyzes anemia management and outcomes in dialysis patients from 12 countries, part of the Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (DOPPS). It focuses on hemoglobin (Hgb) levels, Epo dosing, and associated patient and facility characteristics between 2002-2003. The findings highlight predictors of achieving Hgb levels greater than 11 g/dl, mortality risks by Hgb groups, and trends in Epo use and iron therapy. This comprehensive analysis aims to inform best practices and improve anemia management for patients on dialysis.
