  2. OSEP Mission • OSEP is dedicated to improving results for infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities ages birth through 21 by providing leadership and financial support to assist states and local districts to provide comprehensive IDEA services

  3. Early Childhood Technical Assistance and Dissemination Projects • The Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) • Support States in administering high-quality and efficient IDEA Part C and Part B preschool programs that implement effective services and evidence-based interventions.

  4. Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center • Update the DEC Recommended Practices • Identify implementation components needed to support the use and sustainability of effective services and evidence-based interventions in early childhood programs • Develop a Framework on effective and efficient Part C and Part B, 619 programs

  5. Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center • Provide a continuum of technical assistance and dissemination activities • Support States in refining their early childhood and family outcomes measurement systems

  6. Early Childhood Personnel Development Projects • The Early Childhood Personnel Center (University of Connecticut) • A national resource on personnel standards, competencies, and recommended practices for professional development for personnel providing services to infants, toddlers, and preschool children with disabilities and their families.

  7. Early Childhood Personnel Center • Assist States in aligning their personnel standards to national professional organization standards • Support partnerships between States and IHEs • Support the use of recommend practices in professional development • Support the integration of early childhood personnel development systems

  8. Technical Assistance on State Data Collection The National IDEA Technical Assistance Center on Early Childhood Longitudinal Data Systems (SRI International) • Provide technical assistance to States on the development and enhancement of statewide early childhood longitudinal data systems to improve the States’ capacity to collect, analyze, and report high-quality data required under sections 616 and 618 of IDEA.
