  1. College Scholarship Opportunity! Are you an accepted applicant (graduating high school student) or a full-time student at an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, or an environmental/applied science? Here is an opportunity to compete for a college scholarship ranging from $1000 to $3000. Scholarships are being offered by the Lake Michigan Post (LMP) of The Society of American Military Engineers. Applicant must become a student member of LMP SAME, or sponsored by a military/ civilian employee of a Department of Defense organization located in northern IL or southern WI, or sustaining company employee of LMP SAME, or a LMP SAME member.
