  1. 2. Are the denominators the same? Yes - Go to the Next Page No - Create fractions with like denominators. -Write the multiples of each of the denominators. -Circle the one that is the same. -Multiply each fraction by a fraction of one that gives it a denominator of the number you circled.

  2. 1. Is it a mixed number? No - Go to Next Page Yes - Turn it into an improper fraction. -Multply the denominator by the whole number. -Add the numerator. -Write this answer on top of the original denominator. Make sure both fractions are improper before you go to the next page!
