Lesson Objectives • To have used app development tools and understand how they work. • To recognise key design features when designing an app • Level 6b • I have used basic HTML coding that works effectively. • Level 5b • I have build a functional app using multiple layers in Blippit • Level 4b • I have effectively used widgets in Blippit to build sequences of layers for an app.
Homework: From last lesson ‘What is your favourite app worksheet’.
Challenge! We are now going to build ‘The Holgate Academy App’. This challenge will improve our skills and familiarity with ‘Blippit’ ready for our own App creation. This App will detail the basic information about the Holgate Academy for parents considering Holgate as a school for their children. Use the help sheet “Making_the_Holgate_app” and work through how to use Blippit to make an app.
