Welcome to Horizon Middle School! In our December 2012 board presentation, we focused on our goal: success for every student. We explored the definition of success in academic, social, and professional aspects, using data to identify strengths and weaknesses for realistic improvement goals. Our initiatives include differentiated instruction, student engagement, and a supportive environment. We monitor achievement through various assessments and address the emotional needs of students with dedicated support programs. Together, we are committed to creating a culture of risk-taking that promotes active learning.
