  1. Senior English 2/6/12 • Failure is an opportunity to begin again more intelligently. Henry Ford. • What is Dracula’s favorite snack? • De-bag – to pants someone. Goals – Take notes and discuss page design and imagery. Go over project plan for chapter 2. Homework – Complete any notes or activities that you didn’t finish in class. Don’t for get to study for Vocab. #20 on Friday.

  2. Senior English 2/7/12 • Do you feel that advice from older people carries special weight because of their greater experience? • What did Mary have for dinner? • Grotty – shabby, inferior. Goals – Review requirements for the Expanded Definition begin work on the Project plan. Find sources. Homework – Complete your project plan tonight.

  3. Senior English 2/8/12 • Do your comments and ideas influence people much? How could you present your ideas so they would have more impact? • What has four legs, is big , green, fuzzy, and if it fell out of a tree would kill you. • Layabout – a hobo or bum. Goals – Do research for expanded definition. Get notes started on Word document. Get source information on word document Homework – Complete all notes and source information. Complete a source citation on your word document. I will check project plans, notes, and source citation tomorrow.

  5. Senior English 2/10/12 • Five minutes to prepare for quiz #20. • Where do you find a no legged dog? • Ponce – pimp. Goals – Complete Vocabulary #20 successfully. Write Body paragraphs based upon questions from your project guide. Homework – Complete intro paragraph with three-part-sentence definition and map and at least two body paragraphs.
