  2. Teachers are like Train Conductors

  3. Tending their students like coals

  4. Helping their sparks to grow into flames

  5. So that they can learn to shine bright on their own

  6. The tracks are the curriculum, guiding the teacher and the students

  7. And the parents and community are the passengers, excited to see where the train takes them

  8. And the train conductor must work with everyone to make sure they arrive safe and sound

  9. But unlike coals, students “burn” at different paces

  10. Not all catch on fire, not all shine the same

  11. But the ultimate goal of train conductors and teachers alike..

  12. Is to know that once they leave the station, they can make it on their own
