Governor’s Office of Emergency Services Announces Disaster Resistant California Reducing Risks Through Partnerships Conference June 18-19-20 Sheraton Grand Hotel, Sacramento The purpose of the 2001 statewide conference is to promote partnerships among public and private sectors to reduce the state’s vulnerability to natural disasters. Presenters will be high level officials and nationally known experts from major companies, and local, state and federal government. Attendees will represent a broad spectrum of elected officials, managers, practitioners, researchers, and others responsible for or interested in reducing the risks from natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and wildland fires.
