This paper discusses the Village Library Collection Development Project, aimed at improving rural and ethnic libraries in Vietnam. Presented at the 2011 American Library Association Meeting, the project addresses the need for supplementary materials in these libraries. The LEAF-VN Foundation, focused on library education assistance, leads this initiative alongside translation projects, professional development, and various workshops. The project seeks funding from non-profits, private individuals, and community members to foster better access to information and resources in underserved areas.
