  5. VILLAGE LIBRARY How does it help the village? • Centre for sustained literacy • Channel for practical training • Platform for entrepreneurial opportunities

  7. Action plan(1) • Establishment of Village libraries in 3 villages

  8. Action plan (2) • Establishing village library in a CLUSTER OF VILLAGES. (10 villages may form a cluster)

  9. Action plan (3) • Converting village libraries to village knowledge centres.

  10. Village Knowledge Centers(1) • Taking knowledge to the roots of the village • Internet Kiosks • business model like STD PCO’s

  11. Village Knowledge Centers(2) • Tele-medicine • Online consultation of major hospitals in cities • E-governance, e-market, e-commerce
