  3. Stick two fingers into Aorta and Pulmonary Artery Septum Find Aorta and Pulmonary Artery Feel for Septum between fingers

  4. Step 2: Change angle of scalpel blade, and cut down chambers on one side of heart. Step 3: Change angle of scalpel blade again, and cut down into chambers on other side of heart, freeing septum Step 1: CAREFULLY cut down into septum (About 5mm) Step 4: Open up heart Cross section of Heart CAUTION! Scalpels are designed for cutting flesh – be VERY careful with them. Chamber of Heart Septum
