3. One Approach to Rent in THP+FC: BAYC • All youth will receive a monthly stipend of $790 to be used for for basic living expenses including rent, bills, food, clothing, transportation and other personal expenses. • First month in program is considered a“learning” process and rent and utilities are automatically deducting fromthe youth’s check. • All youth receive a bi-monthly check, available on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. • Youth receive approximately $460.00 on the 1st Tuesday.  From this check youthare expected to pay theirrent ($250).  On the 3rd Tuesday of the month youthreceive approximately $330.00.  With this check youthpay theirPG&E, phone bill, and the bulk of theirmonthly expenses. • Each month youthare required to create a monthly budget.

4. One Approach to Rent in THP+FC: BAYC • Being in debt with BAYC due to non-payment of rent or utilities resultsin money being automatically deducted from youth’sfuture stipend checks until they have paid off debt. • Instead of ausual stipend, youth receives • $250 in food cards • rent and utilities will be deducted • An additional $35 will be deducted from stipendfor each late bill • Remaining stipend will be negotiated with YDS on a case by case basis, with money being deducted monthly until debt is paid off.

PTS Data from 12/31/12 EMPLOYMENT • 56% of participants are working • 15% full time • 41% part-time • 35% of participants are seeking employment • 8% of participants are not seeking employment • 1% of participants are determined unemployable INCOME • Average monthly income: $869.12 • Average hourly wage: $9.19 • 52% report receiving at least one form of public benefit • 29% report receiving another form of financial support

PTS Data from 12/31/12 EDUCATION Current Involvement • 44% of participants are participating in an educational activity, either completing their high school diploma or GED (23%) , AA (71%) or BA (7%) on a part-time or full-time basis • 56% of participants are not involved in an educational activity Highest Level of Education • 21% have not graduated from high school or completed a GED • 77% hold a high school diploma or GED • 1% have earned an Associate’s Degree • 0% have earned a Bachelor’s Degree

PTS Data from 12/31/12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION • 18% of participants are custodial parents • 76% report having health insurance; 24% report not having health insurance • 96% report a permanent connection with an adult; 4% report no permanent connection • 5% of participants have been incarcerated or detained in adult criminal justice system since entering THP-Plus • 4% of participants have had an adult misdemeanor or felony conviction since entering THP-Plus
