What we know about our students They are focused on the content of a college degree-not the process They are looking for courses that meet their schedules They are getting more and more tech savvy The profile of students is increasingly female and from under-represented groups Retention and graduation rates are extremely high

What we know continued: Traditional Faculty are having some difficulty unbundling and shifting We are increasingly dependent on Subject Mater experts who are profoundly current Knowledge and information are growing exponentially in subject domains Our students are living in increasing pockets of work isolation connected technologically

  17. On-Line In-Service Training Personnel access self-paced instructional modules After completion of module student takes a test with randomized questions Results are tracked and transcribed for a variety of uses: Court, Accreditation, Attorney General Requirements

  19. Tracking and Transcripting The agency has user rights to track who needs training The Software alerts personnel when training expiration is approaching The Software produces a transcript and

  20. Currency is key to Agency • Curriculum is updated at least twice per year based on case law, new legislation or emerging practice • Curriculum has links to Case Law and articles that bring the concept to life • The DMS systems warns when expiration on currency is impending

  21. Issues for Colleges • Curriculum is a moving target • Contact hours have to be maintained with rigor • Assessments must be outcomes based • Maintain a trust relationship with the vendor • Where to best fit the course in student’s study plan
