This synthesis creates a very dark harmony for the introduction, and this harmony ascends as the introduction goes on. • As the introduction develops the pitch gets lighter and then the voices start to go back and forth. • A synthesizer is used to make thunder crash right as it bridges into the chorus.
1:22 Chorus • The sound of rain pouring continues through the synthesizer as a acoustic guitar accompanied by drums begins in a very slow rhythm with the duration between notes increasing as the rhythm slows down. • The voice is light and gives a feeling of consonance like this song will remain a light hearted and melodic song. • Repetition is used as the vocals of the chorus are repeated along with the rain, guitar and drums in the background.
2:10 Verse 1 • The volume of the guitar and drums decrease. • The vocals are the dominant sound the listener hears. • The synthesizer is also creating a digital sound that mimics a pencil writing on paper, this gives the feeling that this song is a letter Stan is writing. • Tone of voice is calm
