  3. NM4 (KTeV) Hall layout—Winter 2008/9 Current status of NM4 (KTeV Hall) • Scaffolding/supports everywhere • Left over ruins of a previous grand experiment • Tourists visit it occasionally • Site has been scavenged for valuable material, waste bins to throw the rest away. Paul E. Reimer

NM4 Progress • Hall has been emptied of most legacy equipment. • Survey of NM4 to mark new location of Analysis magnet and chambers started today. • CsI Hut has been removed (essentially in one piece!). • Downstream section of KTeV vacuum tank was removed last week. • 30T SM-12 iron has been cut into 15T pieces for installation.   6. Chamber test/installation progress E-866 St. 2, Now E-906 St 3 Bottom • Old Chambers have been moved to NM4 for Leak and HV test • Wire repairs are necessary—We’ll know more once they are opened up in Jan/Feb. E-866 St. 3, Now E-906 St 2 Paul E. Reimer
