Amelia had a tough childhood because her dad had a drinking problem and issues with finances. • Amelia spent most of her childhood with her grandparents. • Born in the year of 1897 on July,24th in Kansas. • Later years in her early life she earned pilots licence. • Her tough childhood made her the person she was, she learned tons of skills including life skills and much more. l EARLY LIFE
Amelia went through many phases through her middle years. She wanted to be a photographer she was a truck driver too. • First she wanted to be a nurse, after she saw a hospital in Chicago. Then became a nurse helper in 1917. • Amelia then wanted to be in science. • Then finally, she became the first female pilot! Middle years
