The Developing Employability Programmes, spearheaded by Charlotte Corke and Jim Turner, focuses on equipping students with essential employability skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving via an interactive curriculum. Participants engage in an employer-driven recruitment process, including a written application and a one-on-one interview, to foster self-awareness and articulate personal work values. The program has shown significant success, engaging over 5,000 students with a 90% submission rate, integrating reflective learning, and using innovative technologies for assessment and feedback.

Reviewers’ feedback • Much sleeker and easier to use. • Helps me to focus on students work as I’m only looking at one document. • I can view what I have written a lot easier to check between markings, so I can go back and review. • I can concentrate more on what the student is saying and I can give better responses or add info from internet. • Easier to spend time on the reading and assessing of the statements. • The fact that students can see their statement and my comments on same page must help them to link the two and for it to be more meaningful. It is for me anyway.
