  2. A MILÁNÓI DÓM Nagyságra nézve Európa harmadik legnagyobb temploma, a római Szt Péter bazilika és a Sevillai katedrális után. Építése 1386-ban kezdődött és csak 1813-ban fejeződött be. Rajta hagyta nyomait a francia és német gótika, majd a reneszánsz és a barokk is. Az egész épület anyaga fehér márvány, 2245, a legkülönbözőbb időkből származó márványszobor található rajta. A dóm tetejére felvonó visz fel, ahonnan fenséges a kilátás.
