Ansel Adams: A Journey Through Photography and Nature's Majesty

Ansel Adams, born on February 20, 1902, was a pivotal figure in photography known for his deep connection to nature. He faced significant challenges, such as losing family wealth due to the 1907 financial panic and sustaining a broken nose in the 1906 earthquake. Adams reshaped photography with his belief that “there are no rules for good photographs, only good photographs.” His landmark achievements include developing the zone system and influential exhibitions with Alfred Stieglitz, making him a key figure in 20th-century photography.
