Purpose of ITRM Policy PLA140-01 • To establish platform policy requirements, which govern the acquisition, use and management of personal computing, server and storage technologies by state executive branch agencies of the Commonwealth of Virginia
Document Development • Policy directions were developed as part of the Platform Domain document approved by the ITIB last March • Policy directions were developed by a collaborative effort that involved input from: • VITA directorates via the domain team and • Other Executive Branch Agencies via VITA’s online review and comment application (ORCA).
