Venus!!!! • Venus is a wonderful place to stay if you are a person who tires of the same routine every day. • Scientists have proved that Venus is a place that has great storms, and a diameter of 12,103.6 KM. • It was discovered by Sumerian and Babylonian astrologers. • Verbal description for it is a light, yellow core, and a Orange surface.

  4. Main Facts • Venus is the closest planet to the earth • It has 243 earth days • It has 225 earth days to orbit the sun • 840 degrees Fahrenheit • 450 degrees Celsius • 0.615 earth years • It’s size is similar the Earth’s

  5. History • Venus is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Probably because it is the brightest planet known to the ancients. • The first spacecraft reaching Venus was Mariner 2 in 1962 • In 1989, the Magellan Orbited with radar mapper; the first high-resolution global map of Venus.

  6. Fame!!!!! • Venus is so popular and well known, that it has been named after a razor, and a popular manga character.
