  2. All About Me ·My Background ·I attended Mississippi State University ·Bachelor’s in Science ·Master’s in Instructional Technology. ·My Experience ·I’ve been teaching for over 20 years. ·Sci/Tech coordinator at MAUE for 4 years.

  3. My Family ·Married ·2 grown boys ·Anthony & Andrew ·Grandbaby - Charlie ·Dogs, cats

  4. Grading ·60% Major test grades ·(couple per 9 weeks) ·30 % Minor grades ·(quizzes, special projects) ·10% Homework/class work ·(everything is numbered and I take up a couple every ten assignments)

  5. Supplies ·Plastic 3 ring binder 1, ½ or 2 inches ·Pen or pencil ·Notebook paper ·2 dry erase markers ·$15.00 lab fee – for lab supplies, frogs, etc.

  6. Biology 1 Test ·Given in May ·Must pass this test for graduation ·Biology 1 is considered an accelerated course – students must be motivated to keep up.

  7. Absences ·Try not to miss any school – get makeup work immediately ·Check the website for information.

  8. Homework ·Study class notes and book between every class!!!!! ·Finish any work done in class. ·Blogs

  9. Tardiness ·3 tardies are referred to office. ·No hall passes – please take care of business before or after class.

  10. Class Rules ·Follow Directions (the first time) ·Be respectful ·Be safe ·Be prepared ·Arrive on time

  13. Classroom Procedures Enter at back door Pick up materials/Bio 1 practice questions Sit in your desk and work practice quest. Your I.D. class/number Class equipment- lab tables, computers, eyewash station, trash cans, pencil sharpener, & Kleenex.
