  3. Evolution of Data Use and Literacy Over the past five years, data literacy in districts has expanded exponentially – all of our school and district staff are doing much more than ever before. But to make the best of the great work being done, we need to learn from each other, and we must increase collaboration. 2007 Today • School Cultures of Data Informed Instruction • Millions of Student Records • Plethora of Data Systems • Development of Data Teams • Cycles from Collection to Analysis to Improvement • Data Teams, PLCs, RTI, Formative, Summative, Growth, Progress Monitoring….   4. Evolution of Training and Support State support has transitioned from tool training, to targeted educator training, to data lead training, to extended school training, and now to move into virtual collaboration. (stock images/photos) 2007 Today
