Vocative Case . By: Michelle Lee ( Period 4). What is the Vocative Case ?. Names that being addressed directly said When somebody is being spoken to directly, his/her name must be separated from the rest of the sentence with a comma “ , ”.

  2. What is the Vocative Case ? • Names that being addressed directly said • When somebody is being spoken to directly, his/her name must be separated from the rest of the sentence with a comma “ ,”

  3. -Let’s eat grandma = Asking us to eat grandma -Let’s eat, grandma= Asking grandma to eat

  4. Think if there is no comma after the ‘cows’….-Basically asking the cows to keep their dogs under control, does it even make sense? -Comma is a must to be placed after the word ‘cows’
