Mastering Subtraction with Additive Inverse Rule in Integers

This week's math objective is to practice using the additive inverse rule to solve subtraction problems involving integers. Students will first tackle large integer subtraction worksheets before demonstrating their understanding through a quiz on the additive inverse method. Daily starters will include transforming subtraction into addition by using the opposite of the second number. Homework will consist of several practice problems and reflections to solidify skills. This comprehensive approach will prepare students for future integer multiplication concepts as well.
