Analysis of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV) Recurrence Rates

This study investigates the recurrence rates of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) among patients in various time frames: 0-1 hour, 0-2 hours, 0-6 hours, and 0-24 hours post-surgery. We present a statistical breakdown of the percentages of patients experiencing vomiting, with rates at 100%, 95%, 90%, 85%, 80%, 75%, 70%, 65%, 60%, 55%, 50%, 45%, and downward. Understanding these rates can help improve patient management and comfort after surgical procedures by identifying risk factors for PONV.
