What is cheating? • Plagiarizing; for example copying, paraphrasing and self-plagiarizing • Unauthorized co-operation • Joyriding or taking advantage • Fabrication • Un-authorized aids
Consequences • All suspected cases will be reported to the disciplinary committee • The teacher is not allowed to haggle or punish! • Warning or suspension from classes • IDE practice a zero tolerance policy against academic dishonesty
