Identifying Acidic and Basic Household Products through pH Testing

This experiment aims to determine the acidity or basicity of various household products using pH paper. We will analyze samples from common items like orange, lemon, milk, and ammonia to classify them as acidic, basic, or neutral. The procedure involves preparing labeled beakers, transferring liquid samples to a well plate, using pH paper to assess their properties, and recording the results in a data table. Through this hands-on activity, we can better understand the acid-base nature of familiar substances.
