  1. Which sentences are correct? The moms and dads are going to drop off the kids and pick them up. The moms are going to drop off the kids and the dads are going to pick them up. The moms are going to drop off the kids, run to the store and pick them up. The moms are going to drop off the kids, but they won’t be there to pick them up. The moms are going to drop off the kids and pick them up so the dads can play golf.

They begin with words like after, whenever, if, because… The punctuation of these items depends on where they occur in the sentence. Ex. After the assembly was over, we returned to homeroom. We returned to homeroom after the assembly was over.
