  2. An Angle • An angle os a figure formed by 2 rays that connects at an endpoint called a vertex.

  3. Acute Angles • An acute angle is an angle that is smaller than 90 degrees, but larger than 180 degrees.

  4. Obtuse Angles • An obtuse angle is an angle that is smaller than 180 degrees, but larger than 90 degrees.

  5. Right Angles • A right angle is an angle that is exactly 90 degrees.

  6. Straight Angles • A straight angle is an angle that is exactly 180 degrees.

  7. Protractor NO, A PROTRACTOR IS NOT A TRACTOR THAT IS PRO. • A protractor is a tool used to measure angles.there are 4 important parts on a protractor. • Inner scale: the numbers on the inside of the protractor. • Outer scale: the numbers on the outside of the protractor. • Base line: the bottom line on a protractor. • Origin: the small hole near the bottom of the protractor.

  8. Estimating Angles Like OMG like are you like kidding me like? • There is a trick to estimating angles that is one simple step and I'm about to tell you what it is. All you need to get a piece of Paper and fold its corner to the bottom of the page where it aligns. There, done, the corner that is acute is 45 degrees, the corner that is obtuse is 135 degrees, the corner that is a right angle is of course 90 degrees.:)

Measuring Angles ITS EASY! • Step 1: Align your origin to the vertex. • Step 2: Align The base line so that it is directly on one of the angles' rays. • Step 3: The second ray should extend to the numbers on the scale. Depending which way the angle is facing, use the scale to determine the degree of the angle (right- inner scale, left- outer scale). • Easy as that!

  10. Drawing Angles Step 1 Step 2 • Drawing angles is so easy! • First, draw a dot to be your vertex. Next, aline the dot with the baseline on your protractor and draw another dot a little farther than the first one. Then, connect the two with a straight line. After that, put your protractor down alined with the baseline and vertex and draw a dot by the scale and degree you want your angle to be. Finally, connect the vertex with the 3rd dot you drew.   11. My Successes • I think i did well measuring angles because i understood it well and liked it a lot.

  12. My Challenges • I had trouble drawing angles because i am not patient and it takes patients. I will work on it and try being more patient.
