Enhancing Academic Proficiency in Middle School: Goals for Writing, Reading, and Math
This document outlines the academic improvement goals for Bridgeport-Spaulding Middle School for the 2010-2011 school year. Our aim is for 70% of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to reach or exceed proficiency in writing, reading, and math as measured by the MEAP and universal assessments by May 2011. We will implement strategies such as daily writing warm-ups, literacy circles, technology integration, and small-group activities. The focus is on cultivating strong writing, reading, and mathematics skills through structured assessments and tutoring.
