DeBakey High School Facility Status Update - PTA Meeting Insights (May 14, 2013)

On May 14, 2013, the PTA meeting provided vital updates on the proposed new facility for DeBakey High School, located at W. Holcombe Blvd. x Pressler St., in the Texas Medical Center (TMC). The team is navigating design challenges while focusing on 21st-century educational needs. Strong community engagement has led to the formation of eight committees to gather input on desired features. HISD has shortlisted architects, with the design process set to begin soon. Ongoing updates will be shared regularly to keep stakeholders informed.
