  13. CHRISTMAS MARKET SAINT NICOLAS It has become a tradition for four years now : SAINT NICOLAS climbs down the belfry of Cambrai on December, 6th. It has become a great time for all the children in Cambrai. After a spectacular descent, SAINT NICOLAS usually offers sweets and candies to children who are sometimes astonished or excited (it depends on the children’s ages…) The Christmas market will take place from December, 6th to 24th On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday From 2 pm till 7:30 pm On Wednesday from 11 am till 7:30 pm On Saturday from 11 am till 8 pm Special event : This year Santa Claus will climb down the Town Hall The big wheel in front of the City Hall

The most surprising is that the “ chef ” tells legends from the past while you have dinner. Visit of the windmill in Cassel by an official tourist guide. Third day  Breakfast before leaving and departure for the station where you will take the train around 10.00 am • Second Day • 9.00 am : Breakfast at the youth hostel •  10.00 am : Visit of the Zoo with its free admission • 1.00 pm : Free time for lunch at « Euralille » ( This is a great department store) Lunch is included in the price of the weekend. From2.30 to 5.30 pm : Time for shopping and things to see (Luxury boutiques and cheaper ones will please you undoubtedly!) 8.00 pm : Dinner in a fast food restaurant « Mc donald’s  » for all. 10.00 pm : Last night at the youth hostel 130 €/person
