  1. Current Event Project Pick a current event that interests you, something you would like to share with the class. (Make sure it is school appropriate) Current means it must have happened in the month of April or May and it DOES NOT need to be about ASL what-so-ever. I want it to be about something YOU love. I would actually PREFER if it was not ASL related

  2. You are then going to gloss out the article. Your version is going to be a summary of the article. (glossed just as you did your autobiography paper, one big paragraph) If there is a time lapse in the article, say the event took place during the week, make sure you include transitions using the days. Or if the story occurred over time, include the times so that you have some kind of transition in the glossed project. You will be graded on your use of transitions

  3. NEXT Include 5 signs that your classmates do not know. These signs need to be relevant to your article. After you present your current event you are then going to teach us the vocabulary. By the end of everyone's presentation we will know a bit more about each other, and have 45 new vocabulary words This is Due Wednesday May 11th
