  3. Geography Ecuador is on the northwest coast of South America. It is named Ecuador because the equator runs through it.

  9. Animals are friendly in theGalapagos Islands because they have never been hunted. Giant tortoises can live to be 150 years old.

  10. What special food can you eat in Ecuador? Llapingachos!!!! These delicious soft yellowish pancakes are made of mashed potatoes and cheese. They are a popular breakfast and delicious side dish.
