  4. Accuracy vs Precision Accuracy = how close the results are to the target or accepted value. Precision = how close the results are to each other. (the exactness of a measurement)

  5. Significant Figures The digits that are known with certainty plus the first digit that is uncertain.

  7. Sig Figs Calculations • Add/Subtract: Look at decimal point of the one with the least # after decimal • Multiply/Divide: Look at the least # of Sig Figs.
