  2. Short-term goals • To make my students as an individual learners. • To make my lesson based on general knowledge and daily life examples. • To make my questions based on critical thinking. • Students centered approach.

  3. Long-term goal • Adopt 21st century teaching approaches to enhance students appreciation of geography.

Instructional strategies, tasks, challenges and solutions Strategies and Tasks • I will make my lesson more interactive. • I will also add research and project works on individual and team basis. • Discussions and presentation based environment to give them confidence which will help them in their professional life. Challenges • My head may not agree with my new approach • Parents may as for detail about this approach • There can be some students who do not want to follow this approach Solutions • I will share the course outline and all my notes with my head • I will prepare a news letter to aware the parents about this news approach • I’ll randomly select the students and encourage them to work with the class

News Letter GRADE 9NEWS • What happened in class THIS WEEK • Students learned about latitude and longitude in Geography. • Through multimedia presentation on the Agriculture of Pakistan. • Students will prepare a project on agriculture. What will happened in class NEXT WEEK • Report on industries of Pakistan. • Students will collect information on industries of Pakistan through internet. • Information based presentation. Remember!   8. conclusion By implementing my new skill in my teaching, students will be empowered and will appreciate and gain a better knowledge of geography. Through these 21st century skills they will find this course easier and will be able to learn faster.
