Maki Kamimura

Maki Kamimura believes children can learn to love golf from an early age. As a child, Maki Kamimura was given plastic golf clubs which were colorful to keep her attention. She used the clubs to hit plastic balls and as she grew her skills improved. Maki Kamimura continued to practice golf as she grew. As an adult, Maki Kamimura has two favorite courses: La Jolla Country Club and Barona in San Diego, California. She hopes to try more courses as she travels.

  2. LovesJapaneseCulture Maki Kamimura loves Japanese culture but likes to compare the similarities and differences between American and Japanese cultures. Maki Kamimura sees many differences between the countries including fashion, food, travel, music, religion, and more. To experience the beautiful architecture Japan has to offer, Maki Kamimura recommends visiting some of Japan’s oldest temples and castles. Maki Kamimura also loves the colorful Japanese festivals full of cultural food, treats, games, and traditional dress. Maki Kamimura’s love of the Japanese culture will never diminish.

  3. Maki Kamimura: Avid Golfer Maki Kamimura loves to golf. She spends a large majority of her free time playing golf for fun and recreation. Although golf can become an expensive sport, the pleasure Maki Kamimura gets from playing is well worth the cost to play. Maki Kamimura has limited her favorite golf courses down to two locations in San Diego. Her favorite courses are La Jolla Country Club and Barona. Maki Kamimura’s earliest memories involve hitting plastic balls with colorful plastic golf clubs.

  4. Three Dream Vacations of Maki Kamimura Maki Kamimura hopes to travel the world one day. She wants to visit dozens of countries in South America, Europe, and Asia. As part of her travels, Maki Kamimura has chosen three locations for her dream vacations. Maki Kamimura hopes to vacation in New Zealand and see the beautiful landscapes; Fiji, to go scuba diving; and Australia, to see their beautiful animals, beaches, and cities. Maki Kamimura is familiar with travel and its costs, and looks forward to when she can finalize her dream vacation plans.
